All Church of England dioceses use the National Society's framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools (SIAS). SIAS focuses on the effect that the Christian ethos of the church school has on the children that attend it. The principle objective of a SIAS inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.
Our last SIAS report was in 2013. The full report can be viewed on the Church of England website.
'This is an inclusive school where pupils are valued and there is a high level of concern for the development of the whole person. There is a unity of purpose and an excellent 'team spirit' within the hardworking staff, giving a positive example for the learners. Pupils are polite, confident and supportive of each other. They care about the environment and are justly proud of their school. Christian values permeate the life and work of the school, particularly through the focus on the created world. The personal and academic development of the learners is well supported through high expectations and a carefully balanced and stimulating curriculum'.
