Uniform Information

Uniform

We believe the school uniform is very important in making children feel part of the school. The uniform is practical, enhances the tone and atmosphere, and helps maintain pupil pride in the school. Much of the uniform is available from local / chain stores. However, some items are only available from the school - these are indicated by an asterisk (*).

Purchasing Uniform

New uniform can be purchased from the school office. Orders are accepted at any time, for collection on Friday afternoon at school end. Please complete a uniform order form, and send to the office with your payment.

The Friends of St. Martins operate a second hand / nearly new uniform store. They offer a number of opportunities to buy throughout the school year. Any used uniform can be donated to them - you can choose to receive a proportion of the resale price, or donate the full profit to the school funds. Contact the Friends for details of this excellent scheme.

Jewellery and Hair

Jewellery should be kept to a minimum for health and safety reasons, and for security. Watches and medical bracelets only are allowed.

Pierced ears should have small studs only - no other piercings are permitted e.g. nose etc.

Please avoid extreme hairstyles, including dyed hair. Hair shoulder length or longer should be tied back.
