Friends of St Martin

Respecting, Generous, Achieving

The Friends of St. Martin meet regularly to support the school in a variety of ways, with a special emphasis on fundraising.  Involvement is not exclusive to parents, and may involve other members of the wider community. Anyone who is able to help with any of our events, has ideas for fundraising or just wants to get involved, please come to our regular meetings.  Contact members of FOSM via the school office.

Fundraising activities have included:

  1. Annual 'Shouldhamberry' camp night
  2. Race night
  3. Children's film nights
  4. Christmas market
  5. Shouldham Village Weekend

We have plans this year for more exciting events to help raise more funds to support the school - as well as the ongoing activities such as the recycling schemes (Activia, Actimel and Shape yogurt pots for the Terracycle programme and old clothing / shoes), advertising boards (advertise services or items for sale - 50p per two weeks) and nearly new school uniform sales.

Our latest newspaper will appear shortly:

Friendship School

Wednesday 22nd June 2016

We started our link with Cherry Tree Academy at Marham by swapping 100 children for the day. This was to celebrate 100 years of the RAF at Marham.

Teachers from both schools planned lessons together and, at the end of an exciting day, a worship time was held to celebrate our friendship and a special candle exchanged between the two schools.

We look forward to more joint ventures.

Welcome to St Martin at Shouldham.
