Primary Science Quality Mark
In May 2019 we were one of 200 schools to receive the national recognised Primary Science Quality Mark.
Jane Turner, PSQM National Director said: "Gaining a Primary Science Quality Mark is a significant achievement for a school. The profile and quality of science teaching and learning in each awarded school is very high. Children are engaging with great science both in and outside the classroom, developing positive attitudes towards science as well as secure scientific understanding and skills. Science subject leaders, their colleagues, head teachers, children, parents and governors should be very proud."
International Schools Award
We have been awarded the Foundation Level of the British Council International School Award. We were praised for using our international activities as a framework within which to enrich and broaden the curriculum and engender a wider awareness and understanding of different cultures, customs, traditions and beliefs.
SIAMS
In January 2019 the school received the judgement of 'Excellent' overall including the impact of collective worship and for the effectiveness of religious education. We were one of the first schools to be assessed in the East of England under the new SIAMS framework and the first in the Diocese of Ely.
